The way in which the wish granting process works can be divided into four simple steps. The first step in working with one of the most rewarding charities for children is to submit a referral. This is basically a request to receive their services. It is usually required to be signed by parents and the child’s doctor.
The second step in allowing your child to be accepted and have their wish granted is to see one of the physicians working for the foundation. This process is to determine and prove that the child has a life threatening illness such as a progressive, malignant, or degenerate disease that is putting the child’s life in jeopardy.
Once the child has had a visit with the physician, it is time to start wishing. The foundation will then send one of their trained experts to communicate with the child. Based on the child’s own words and desires, the expert will then help the child to decide on what exactly their wish will be.
Charities for children get the majority of their funds from donations, which means they are, in fact, limited to what they can do. In other words, there is only so much that can be done to achieve the child’s request. For example, if the child’s wish is for one million dollars, the wish will not be able to be granted.
