Haulover Nude Beach that is located in Miami, Florida is a very popular. As many as 7,000 people visit the beach a day. The beach is part of Haulover Beach Park and encompasses about 0.45 mile of the 1.30 mile Haulover Beach. The Florida Naturalists established the beach in 1981. The beach is well-maintained and offers lifeguards, police, picnic facilities, showers, and restrooms.
Haulover Nude Beach became overwhelmingly popular as a clothing-optional beach when Miami-Dade County decided to increase its revenue by collecting fees from naturists who used the beach. A naturist is a person who practices nudism for comfort and health. Nudism is the practice of living life without clothing either in public or private settings. It is a way of life that views the unclothed body has beautiful – something to be accepted, honored, respect, and enjoyed. Haulover Nude Beach is one of the best clothing-optional beaches in the world. As many as 7,000 people visit the beach in a single day. Because clothing is optional, some visitors remained clothed. Although Haulover Nude Beach is only a small portion of the larger Haulover Beach Park, approximately 66% to 85% of visitors use the nude beach area. Therefore, it is quite friendly to people who want to go nude.
Haulover Nude Beach is situated between the Intercostal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean and is part of Haulover Beach Park. The beach includes dunes, shades, and picnic facilities. There are a number of vendors who sell hotdogs, soda, and ice cream. The beach also includes places to grill, boat ramps, and kite and dive equipment rentals. The beach offers lifeguards, police, restrooms, and parking. In general, it is a safe and well-maintained beach.
When visiting the beach, adhering to the following rules will make the experience more pleasurable:
1.Do not bring glass bottles or containers to the beach.
2.Do not bring pets to the beach.
3.Stay out of the dunes' plant life.
4.Wear clothing when not in the clothing-optional area.
5.Do not litter; throw trash including cigarette butts in garbage cans.
6.Respect others right to be nude – no gawking or lewd behavior.
Although Haulover Nude Beach is one of the most popular clothing-optional beaches and many of the visitors disrobe making it more comfortable for others who disrobe, it is a public beach. Therefore, many different kinds of people with any number of motivations and belief systems visit the beach. Some of them are voyeurs or worse who are looking to violate people who simply want to be free and natural and live their lives in peace. Therefore, it is important to take the proper precautions when visiting a nude beach.
