Many women are on birth control pills in order not to get pregnant at all. In addition birth control pills are often used in order not to get pregnant at a particular time. Moreover, they could be used in order to control the number of children that a couple has. In addition, in today’s society women and young girls are engaging in sexual relations at a very early age due to peer pressure or other important factors. In fact, it is claimed that most women and most men have lost their virginity by the time that they graduate from college. I think that if girls are going to be sexually active then, they need to be sexually responsible by getting a prescription from their doctor or from a family planning clinic for birth control pills. It is possible, even possible that when you go to your doctor’s office or to a family planning clinic to get a prescription for birth control pills someone such as a nurse or doctor will explain how birth control pills work and birth control effects will also be discussed with you. In addition, you may be asked questions about your sexual history and you might even be informed of the statistics regarding contracting a sexual disease. The information that you are given and asked for before getting your prescription for birth control pills may be long and boring because you think that you understand everything about reproductive health that you need to know for your entire lifetime. However, health professionals need to educate people about the benefits and the risks that come with taking birth control pills. Moreover, before you leave with your prescription of birth control pills, a pharmacist will show you how to use them correctly. Plus, before you are given this prescription you are given a physical examination by your doctor or a nurse.
There are many birth control effects that women must be aware of before taking birth control pills. For example, you must be aware that birth control pills are not one hundred percent effective. This type of health reproductive pill is only ninety seven percent effective in preventing pregnancy and that the effectiveness of this reproductive health pill goes up to ninety nine percent when used with some kind spermicide. Moreover, sometimes birth control pills are not effective for women who are over a certain age and women that have certain health conditions should not take any type birth control pill. These health conditions could include heart conditions, blood clots, stoke, being pregnant, and nursing a baby. The side effects of using birth control could include vomiting, cramping, nausea, fatigue, bloating, and spot bleeding. Therefore, it seems like there are only bad birth control effects.
I have no issue with women having sex as long as they know the consequences of having sexual intercourse. However, it seems that if girls are having sexual intercourse when they are teenagers they are doing so due to peer pressure and /or teenage hormones. It has been my experience that young women need to be educated on sex and reproduction as well sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy. Young and unmarried woman should not have sex and then they wouldn’t fear getting pregnant. But, if they are having sex then they needs to know all about birth control pills.
