Many birth control methods

Ahem, yes, birth control, it's a wonderful topic, especially when you're in the backset of your first car trying to get somewhere with a girl, all clumsy and afraid, no idea what lays before you. That's just the time to ask about a condom or break out the pill. Yep. Ruin every chance you might ever have at getting lucky by asking about a kid that doesn't exist, Yee-hah.
There are plenty of birth control methods, pills, condoms, ointments, salves, how about this one, abstinence? There are plenty of birth control methods but that doesn’t mean they’ll always get use. Birth control methods are only ways to avoid the probable, and if you’re having sex, even the best one of birth control methods isn’t infallible. There’s always that sperm that takes Jim Morrison’s advice and Break’s on Through. Bow-bomm-ban-doop, bip-boom-boom-band-doop, Break on through to the other side, break on through to the other side.
You can get fancy and practical and break out the old Yasmin birth control pill, both effective and it doesn’t ruin the feeling of the moment, because there’s that moment when you need to feel as one, but what about those times birth control can’t be used. What about those times beyond your control. What birth control method can protect you in certain situations? What about when something like this happens?

On our way home, I asked Dave if everything was all right. He smiled and said, "Everything is fine, let's just keep it at that." He wasn't telling the truth, but I thought it would be better not to say another word. We drove up to a drive through liquor store and he ordered two big bottles of wine, then we drove back to his place. At first we talked a little and watched some television, then Dave put his arm around me and we started to snuggle. One thing led to another, we began to spoon and kiss. He turned off the television and we kissed more. Dave started to take my clothes off, starting with my bra beneath my blouse. Something didn't feel right. He was moving too fast. I got up to leave and Dave pulled me back down and slid his hand up my pants.

"Dave, it's getting late and I have to get up very early in the morning, will you take me home?"

"Fine. Okay. I'll take you home after one more drink, is that all right?"

"Sure, but just one. I need to use your bathroom, I’ll be right back." When I came back in the room, Dave handed me a drink. "After this I'll take you home. Did you have a good time?"

"Yes." I said. I drank the wine and a few moments later, I started to feel funny. I believe I passed out. The last thing I remember Dave was pulling off my skirt. When I woke up, I was at home, in my own bed. My stomach hurt. I was bleeding and I had bruises on my arms. I went to the hospital. They found traces of the Rohypnol, the rape drug, in my system, and sperm. The police were called. They asked me some questions. I couldn't believe Dave would do such a thing. I guess he wasn't who I thought he was. The police arrested Dave that night and charged him with rape. He was put away but I got pregnant. I don’t honestly know what to do. A child is a gift from God, but this, this is something else entirely.

This type of thing is avoidable, you should know your partner before you get into such a compromising position, but birth control would not help here, at least not the applicable type of birth control like a condom or a sponge, but a pill, a regular pill like the Yasmin birth control pill could’ve helped here.
