Love And Romance, Precursors To A Wedding Escondido Style

Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes the most wonderful season of all: wedding season! When engaged couples contemplate a California wedding, they quite often imagine a picturesque setting on a cliff overlooking the majestic ocean. Other times they may choose the solemn endlessness as portrayed by the gigantic Sequoias that may be found inland. Yet not too many couples think of Escondido, which is a shame, because there is nothing as profound as a wedding Escondido style!

Escondido is one of California's gems.  It is located only about 30 miles northeast of San Diego and its ocean in the midst of the coastal mountain region that defines Southern California. Its moderate weather, proximity to the beautiful white, sandy beaches, as well as the irresistible nearness to fascinating Mexico make it a prime vacation destination for knowledgeable Californians. It is no wonder that love and romance are blooming in this city that attracts thousands each year, and many who seek out entertainment quite often find a partner for life.  Sure, some of the visitors seek out the Escondido sex industry with its short-term rewards.  Escondido sex shops are somewhat rare, and it reflects the attitude of the city that this is a town for romance.

Of course, love and romance are often followed by a wedding, and nothing comes close to a wedding Escondido style!  For a truly amazing outdoor wedding, Escondido offers several parks that might just fit the bill.  There is beautiful Mountain View Park which used to be known for its avocado and orange groves.  It features eleven acres of developed parkland with many breathtaking locations for a wedding ceremony.  Another prime location for the perfect ceremony is Felicita County Park, which is a historic monument in its own right.  Its fifty-three acres of oak groves resonate with the history of the Northern Diegueno Indians whose artifacts are still left behind.

Of course, the most perfect location is Kit Carson Park which almost appears to have been designed with out door weddings in mind.  For a wedding, Escondido-style, at this location, the happy couple may choose to say their vows in the five acre arboretum named "Iris Sankey Magical Garden."  For the modern bride and groom, the park features the only sculpture garden on American soil by famed French artist Niki de Saint Phalle. The sculptures range from a circular snake wall to a maze as well as ornamental landscaping which augments the experience. The artist named the sculpture garden "Queen Califia's Magical Circle" and the experience is without equal. Another feature that makes this venue so irresistible for a wedding ceremony is an outdoor amphitheater that is designed to hold three-thousand guests-it does not get any more perfect than this!

Of course, some folks prefer to have a traditional ceremony indoors, and if you are one of them, you will find that there are many more options for a wedding; Escondido has a rich history and its historic district offers a large variety of mansions that may be rented for the occasions.  There is one other great location for an indoor wedding: Escondido Center for the Arts.  Its banquet facilities are spotless and pride themselves on catering to a reception with as many as one-thousand two-hundred guests.

As you can see, Escondido is a prime address when it comes to having that perfect California wedding, and hopefully you will find yourself inspired to either have that amazing outdoor wedding that will make for unforgettable memories and photos, or perhaps you will choose for that incredible indoor ceremony in either the heart of the city or in its sanctum for the arts.  Whatever you may choose, you will be delighted to have chosen Escondido!
