The 1998 film, Lola Runs, is great, and one of the best German movies I have ever seen. This movie is about Lola's boyfriend trying to prove that he is loyal to a gang boss. He carries out many tasks for him, but the last one is to simply deliver 100,000 Deutsche Marks to his boss. Of course, that sounds pretty simple, but ever thing that could go wrong in this movie does. In fact, the movie is very good, and is like no other movie I have seen in America. That makes it my favorite type of movie. When a movie like Lola Runs comes out, for it to be good it has to be different than any other movie out at that time. There have been so many different movies made that it is hard to come up with movies that no one has ever seen before. Although the storyline to the movie does not sound like it is that great of a movie, it is indeed a great movie. The movie stars Franks Potente as the ever so hot Lola. The movie is very good, and it is not the type of movie you think that it would be. In fact, I love when a movie comes out that is more than what you thought it was going to be. Lola runs is one of those types of movies, and that is why I like it so much. I have seen a lot of movies in my time so for me to say that a movie is very good, is a big deal. This movie is like no other movie that you have ever seen before, I just know it. Of course, if you want to see Lola Runs in America, you are going to have to look for the movie called Run Lola Run. This is the title it got when it came over. Of course, it is indeed the same movie as Lola Runs. I really did enjoy watching this film, and I am sure that you are going to as well. However, I do feel like this is not a movie for kids to watch. I mean, this is not really your best bet for a great family film. Of course, it is great to watch on a night out with the guys.
The thing that makes this movie so much better than other movies is the three sequential alternative realities that are in the movie. When Lola Runs begins you will see that everything goes very wrong when her boyfriend tries to simply deliver the money to his boss. Lola's car gets stolen, and she is unable to get her boyfriend to the meeting on time. While he is waiting for his girlfriend to get there he chooses to take the metro instead. However, this is where everything goes very wrong, and he leaves the bag on the train by mistake. After making a phone call to Lola, she tells him that she is going to get the money back for him. If she is not able to get the money back by the time the meeting starts at 12 o'clock then he will be killed. The movie is so good that I cannot tell you anything more that is going to happen this is a movie that you are going to want to watch without knowing what is going to happen, because it makes the movie that much better. Do keep in mind that you will love this movie, I just know it.
I really love the movie Lola Runs, and I know that you are going to as well. Now if you are looking for a great family movie, this is not it. Because of the storyline being about gangs and things like that, I have to say this movie is not the right movie for your family to watch together. I am sure that is just going to lead to some things that you do not want to happen. So if you are looking for a great movie to watch without the kids then you should pick up the old movie Lola Runs. You are going to love it.
