All of the Los Angeles car rental agencies strive to catch the attention of travelers. Many of those at the Airport seek to get a number one spot in the yellow pages. The traveler should not expect the first "A" listing under "automobile renting" to be the name "Avis."
Ads for Advantage Rent-a-Car and Alamo Rent-a-Car have been placed to draw the attention of all who use the yellow pages to find a car for rent.
A short bus ride from the Airport will carry a traveler to yet another Los Angeles car rental agency. This agency, A-1 Airport Rent-a-Car, lies on the border between Los Angeles City and Culver City. Few of its customers come from hotels in Los Angeles. Most of them come from hotels in Culver City or Marina Del Rey.
The traveler who wants to stay close to the Airport, close to Los Angeles City, can often access a specific Los Angeles car rental agency by riding one of the agency vans. There are vans to Avis Rent-a-Car, to Hertz Rent-a-Car, to Dollar Rent-a-Car and to National Rent-a-Car. Once a car has been rented, then the traveler needs to head to one of the many hotels in Los Angeles and to a spot where there are points of a cultural or an historic interest.
