The first of these keys is to work hard. Work hard at living a successful Christian life. Work hard at reading the Bible and keeping your faith. Work hard at recognizing temptation and the challenges that they devil brings to you. A successful Christian life will be the result of your hard work. Work hard at a successful Christian marriage and you will be rewarded everyday by the love and caring of your spouse.
The second of these keys is to forgive. Forgive those that you feel have done you wrong. Forgiveness will open your heart to those who need your love. Forgiveness will also take the burden of wrong doings off your back so that you can continue your hard work at a Christian life. Forgive those who have done wrong and help them to know God. Whether that person has been an alcoholic or drug user, forgive those people and help them to find their way. A successful Christian will help those in need by helping them find the love of God. Some people have to hit rock bottom until they are able to stand at the top. Those people will benefit from the love of a Christian’s life. Bitterness, envy and jealousy will burden your Christian life and one must forgive in order to live happily. Forgive your spouse when you feel they have done wrong and it will lead to a successful Christian marriage.
The third key is to live thankfully. Be thankful for all that God has given you. Be thankful that you are able to live the Christian life. Be grateful for all those things that you have and have been given by others. Be thankful for your spouse and your successful Christian marriage.
The fourth key is to live with self-control. There are a lot of temptations that can lead to sin. Self-control will allow you to recognize when temptation has led you too far. Temptation itself is not a sin, but giving into temptations is. Our society makes it very difficult to lead the Christian life with drugs, drinking and rock music. Drinking and music is not a sin, however, if one does not use self-control they encourage sinful behaviors.
The fifth key is to be an encourager. Encourage those who are not doing as well as you are in living the Christian life. Encourage those who have fallen to sin and let them know that they can too live the Christian life. Encourage anybody who needs encouragement. This will lead to many happy lives including your own. Encourage your family and spouse to live the Christian life successfully. Be a positive influence on everybody that you meet and you will in turn encourage others to live the Christian life. Encourage those that are working towards the Christian life and let them know that despite hardships they can do it as well.
