At Wreck Beach, clothing is optional. Located near Vancouver, British Columbia, the beach is one of the largest official nude beaches in the world. Individuals and families visit the beach to sunbathe and enjoy its activities including body painting, dancing, volley ball, beach casino, music, and food. Since there are people who visit the beach with the sole purpose of leering at naturalists (nudists), it is best to remove your clothes with caution and take measures to protect yourself.

This beach, known as Wreck Beach, is considered one of the world’s largest clothing optional beaches. Regular users of Wreck Beach think nothing of joining the practicing nudists in the different activities while spending some time at the beach. One would think that just because Wreck Beach is an optional clothing beach, you would see only adults there. That is not the case. It is not unusual to see whole families enjoying a fun day at the beach.
