Little children in Bible School can generally recite the Ten Commandments, even if not all priests and ministers can do so. However, it is adults - often having forgotten the actual text of the Ten Commandments in any of its three Biblical forms - who frame the debates that shape these children's lives. What is the proper role of the Ten Commandments in modern society? For example, do they belong in public classrooms, or not?

The Decalogue is one of the most important aspects of the spiritual and daily lives of both Christians and Jews. The Ten Commandments as they are better known represent the basis of all Judeo-Christian morality and in many ways western law. Studying the Decalogue and following these Commandments allows for the furthering of one's spiritual walk and leads to greater understanding of God and our purpose on this Earth.

Children love to play games, and if you have the good fortune of hosting a party with a large number of children, you know how hard it is to keep them occupied, playing fair, and playing nice. If left unchecked, children will most likely begin to separate into little cliques, and may even begin to act out aggressively.
