In his three years of ministry upon the Earth, Jesus Christ performed many signs and miracles that dazzled the people of Israel and brought many to believe in his claims and in his mission. According to the Gospel of Mark, when Christ delivers the Great Commission he promises that many Christian signs and wonders will follow the disciples, and it is said that the disciples performed many signs and wonders and brought many believers into the fold.
