Racism has been with the human race pretty much since man first walked the earth. Slavery, genocide, war atrocities, and also rape and murder were justified in the name of one race being superior to another. Sadly, Christianity has oftentimes been used to excuse and even further this practice; yet did you know that racism is actually in direct opposition to the tenets of this faith? Did you know that the Bible is extremely clear on how to deal with racism in all its form?

Like racism in general, racism in Christianity is used to justify humankind's warped need to control and conquer. For instance, during the time of slavery in the United States many "Christians" justified their actions by believing that slaves were the descendents of Ham, who had been cursed (supposedly) by his father Noah. However, it was Canaan, Ham's son, who was cursed (Genesis 9:18, 25, 10:6) to be the servant of his brothers.

Many of you have a pink breast cancer awareness ribbon displayed either on your cars or on your persons.
