In the 1950's, teenagers thought being a rocker and listening to rock and roll music were extremely cool. Their parent's and most of the older generations saw things differently though. Teenager's parents were under the assumption that being a rocker would lead their children in to the lives of juvenile delinquents or worse. People just couldn't keep from twisting and turning to the hip beats of rock and roll rhythms like those from Buddy Holly.

The city rockers live a unique lifestyle. They play in rock bands and live vicariously. Since the hours they play are usually well into the night they start their days later than most people and end them later than most people. The city rockers have a lot fun. The rockers music keeps them busy during the paying jobs. They can do very well for themselves with the rockers music, but they need to stay in good shape and out of trouble.
