Winter, spring, summer and fall are the four seasons of a year. In all four seasons people love to throw parties. Some people have their parties catered and other people might have a theme party. Theme parties could include Halloween parties, Christmas parties, Bon Voyage parties, and Graduation parties. In addition, there doesn't even need to be a reason to have a party.
Birthday parties need to have great food and fun games. Most children’s birthday parties have hamburgers, hot dogs, or pizza to eat at the party. In addition, no children’s or adults’ birthday party would be complete without, drinks, cake, ice cream, presents, and games. Most children and adults love both chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream for their birthday dessert. However, the kinds of games and presents at a child’s birthday party are different than the games and presents that are at an adult’s birthday party. Children’s birthday parties usually have the party games of pin the tail on the donkey, water balloon fights, Clue, Candy Land, hide and seek, and tag. In addition, a fun children birthday party game could be a lifesaver race game. In this case, a lifesaver has nothing to do with water safety. In this case, a lifesaver is a round hard candy that comes in many assorted flavors such as peppermint, pineapple, orange, lemon, lime, and strawberry. Even though, in this case, lifesaver has nothing to do with water safety, a lifesaver race can take place on a beach. What exactly is a lifesaver race? Let’s find out what this race entails.
The objective of a lifesaver race is to pass a lifesaver from player to player using only a toothpick. It is an active relay race game where much movement is needed. A lifesaver race needs six or more players, straws, and lifesavers. First, divide your group into two teams. Each team will need to be lined up facing forward. Then, take a bunch of toothpicks and give each player one. The player at the beginning of the line gets the lifesaver. Before beginning the lifesaver race, everybody puts a toothpick in their mouth and then the captain puts a lifesaver on his or her toothpick. The object is to pass the lifesaver from team member to team member using only the toothpick; no hands are allowed to touch the lifesaver. The first team to pass the lifesaver down to the end of the line wins the lifesaver race. If the lifesaver falls on the floor then, you must start from the beginning. A lifesaver race can be done at either a child’s birthday party or an adult’s birthday party. Let’s have a lifesaver race at the next birthday party.
