Minnesota is most likely known for its baseball team called the Minnesota Twins and its 10,000 lakes. Valleyfair is a good and fun place to spend a summer day for both kids and adults alike. Valleyfair is an amusement park located in Minnesota. This amusement park is opened daily Memorial Day through Labor Day. It is also opened for some days in May and September. It also has a special Halloween event in October called Valleyscare. Disneyland has a very recognizable mascot in Mickey Mouse; however Valleyfair has some great attractions for people to enjoy. The amusement park has over 60 rides, including eight roller coasters and six water rides. One of the most popular roller coasters at Valleyfair is called Wild Thing. This water ride is very popular for both spectators and riders alike because the huge wave can splash about ten feet past the fence that surrounds this water ride.
