Intimacy and sex are growing issues in society. As it is evident that many things in our lives revolve around these issues. Also, the growing need to embrace and incorporate these issues in our daily lives since work is consuming a large amount of our time, is making them a common part of our diction. We need to know that we matter, even if the workload seems pressing at the time.
Kissing is also an element part of this expression, as it helps bring us closer together in a warm blanket of intimacy. Just by giving a simple kiss on the lips reinforces to the person that you still find them attractive and that they still matter to you. Kisses are a wonderful gift to receive, as unlike flowers they are more personal, since the giver is in fact giving a part of himself in more ways than one.
Kisses bring and emphasize a human contact which is necessary for a relationship to harness its intimacy and grow into a comfortable maturity. Cheek kissing is also a sign or emblem of intimacy. Perhaps not so often in the sense of sexuality, but more in the realms of closeness.
Teens kissing as such is a sign of budding love or just curiosity. It is the experimentation of kisses as an element that brings two people even closer. A young kiss can be thought of as innocent. As it is not yet evolved into the more adult domain of French kissing.
Kisses can also be associated with friendship, where cheek kissing is often the option opted for. Also may grandparents love to give a cheek kiss to their grandchildren. Perhaps to let them know of their feelings of love towards them and that they do matter to them. Cheek kissing is a common way of greeting in most European countries, where it is mostly seen amongst men. Therefore showing that a kiss can have many meanings that are as relevant, as the knowing that kissing is the increase of closeness.
The contact of lips during teen kissing can sometimes awaken more deep feelings and the need for intimacy can be aroused. It does not mean that the individual teens involved will act upon these feelings; it just means that the sexual instinct is slightly awaken. That is the reality of an intimate passionate kiss. It makes the possibilities of completion through intercourse probable. Yet perhaps this is also the exploration of a more advanced form of the more primitive young kiss. As with everything in life we seek further progress and maturity of things.
Society needs and understands the importance of kisses, since people cannot just start copulating in public areas. As kisses play the same role as sex and unlike sex can be given anywhere as a sign of affection without feeling guilty of the prying eyes. They are intimate and searching, wanting and needing to feel the union force field that envelops two people.
Kisses can also be seen as a way of communicating. Where the receiver understands the message sent through them. However they can also be confusing as sometimes the message can be mixed in its unique encryption.
To sum it all - kisses are worth giving, as the rewards are so much more.
