Japanese Date and the Myth About Blood Types

Added: 12/07/2005

Have you ever dated a foreign woman from another country? Dating foreign women is fun and sometimes even better then dating "local women". First of all, the female population in many foreign countries far exceeds the local male population. This would make American men not only more desirable, but more available! Try a Japanese date: they are gorgeous-looking and exotic. In addition, a Japanese date is much more traditional and not as materialistic or spoiled as Western American women.

The next thing to do would be to find a way to meet a Japanese date.  One obvious way is by meeting and talking to tourists and/or foreign students.  Campuses would be a great place to meet a Japanese date.  Another way is to use dating services and agencies.  The most convenient course or easiest, is probably to meet a Japanese date online.  However, don't assume that most foreign women have constant exercise to the Internet.  So, answering Japanese personals or if you can have access to Japan personals would be the perfect way to meet a Japanese date.  Of course, there is no reason why you can't place an ad yourself in Japanese personals or even in Japan personals.

When you find your Japanese date, here are a few pointers to look out for.  First of all, forget Virgo versus Scorpio, or the alignment of Mars and Venus.  In Japan, the letters A, B and O spell out success or doom for many a budding relationship.  There is a widespread belief or more like modern superstition that blood type determines character.  It isn't too surprising when a couple comes in on a first date, they'll talk about the drinks they like for a while. Then the subject often turns to blood type to keep the conversation moving along.  Type A blood is thought to produce nitpickers, while B people are seen as free-wheeling and O's as driven.  Even matchmaking agencies will weed out partners on the basis of blood type.
Medical experts have insisted for years there is no scientific correlation between character and blood type, but many Japanese still believe.  So, if you want to score points with your Japanese date, try being an expert on these.

A Blood Type:  tend to be uptight when the things are out of place or if the schedule is a little off. Attention to detail combined with a desire to please others are hallmarks.
B Blood Type:  tend to be pushy and loud.
O Blood Type:  tend to be highly motivated and intent on controlling group situations.
AB Blood Type:  tend to be a bundle of contradictions, but are also believed to produce original ideas.
According to the Japan Red Cross Central Blood Centre, about 40 per cent of Japanese have type A blood, 30 per cent are O, 20 per cent are B and 10 per cent have AB.

Now that you know the basics of Japanese dating and still interested in your Japanese date and she in you for that matter, you're ready for the next step.  Flatter your Japanese date and know her culture!  You can do no wrong if you take the time to know traditional Holidays, common customs, geography, and best of all the Japanese food!   I hope you like Sushi, or at least try them for starters. That would show tremendous respect for her individuality and would only make you two bond.  Teach her about your culture while being patient.  Remember, she's not like American women.  Moving too fast may just scare her away or you if you don't get the result you want.
