Possibly, but it can also be viewed as the fact that society will no longer make you feel like an outsider if you do fall in love or even date a member of the opposite skin colour. Many interracial couples are now happily married and rightly so because an interracial marriage is not doomed to fail.

Interracial sites on the Internet are seen as a blessing to many people who like the idea of dating a member of the opposite skin colour. An interracial love can be hard to find when looking in the wrong place but an interracial sites might be the answer to their problems. There are many people who like the idea of joining up to interracial sites even if it is just to browse the people that have also joined up.

Many people view members of the opposite skin colour as sexy and appealing and think that an interracial love would be all their dreams come true. Well people are allowed to have their own fantasies about other people and interracial sites can be seen as that medium that can connect dreams to reality.

Many people in America now accept interracial dating, before this would have been heavily frowned upon and would have been regarded as wrong and highly unacceptable. But it seems that the old ages have defiantly been over ruled because more and more people are coming to terms with the fact that interracial couples are not wrong in their choices of who to have as their partner. 95% of Americans aged between 18 and 29 approve of interracial marriages and interracial couples. These results are not at all surprising considering the fact that almost half of all Americans say that they have dated a person of a different ethic group. There is a small margin between whites accepting interracial dating then blacks accepting interracial dating. But the acceptance from both groups is still strong the acceptance rate is fairly high across all age groups starting at 95% for younger groups going steadily down to 45% for Americans aged 65 and over. So there is acceptance from all age groups in America even thought the statistics seem to show that older people do seem to be slightly less accepting when there is a interracial dating within their family.

Before there would have been a double standard, which meant that white men could date black women but not the other way around. This has also changed as the double standards that were in society a long time ago have now disappeared with 71% of people approving of a black man dating a white women and 75% approving of a white man dating a black women.

Many years ago people would have been scared to even think of dating a person with a different skin colour to them, but as times have changed so has people's views on interracial dating, therefore allowing people to explore their interests in interracial dating and not being afraid to tell people that they have experienced an interracial date. Times change and people change mainly for the better.
