Homo feminist (which is another way to say lesbian feminist) is a cultural and perspective movement. This was most popular during the 1970's and 1980's. Also, it is worth noting that homo feminist were primarily in North America and Western Europe. There have been a lot of supporters of homo feminist, and some worth noting are Rita Mae Brown, Mary Daly, Sheila Jeffreys, and Marilyn Fry. If you look back over the course of history, you will see that lesbianism has always had a relationship with most feminism issues and projects. So where did homo feminist branch away from the normal feminism movement? Well, this can be seen in the second wave of feminisms. This branch of feminism most likely came about because of a dissatisfaction with feminist and gay liberation at that time. Whenever you look at homo feminist you can characterize it in many different ways. In either case, when you look at homo feminist, you will see that most of it has one thing in common, and that is the cutting out of men. Most homo feminist have found ways to cut men out of their lives by living and dating other females. Lots of times homo feminist will have a very strong disliking of males as a whole.

However, women have found many ways to be happy without men, and one is limiting their time they have to spend with them. Although most homo feminist want nothing to do with men, they still act polite to them because they still have to live with them on this plant. However, they usually do not date or have male friends. They get the love and support they need from other women, and most of the time end up co-habituating with them. However, in some cases of homo feminist they do not want nothing to do with men and choose not to speak with them at all. This type of hatred for men usually comes from something that was done wrong to them by a man. This could be rape or another form of sexual harassment. Although it is impossible for them to live completely cut off from men, they would like to have it that way. In most cases of homo feminist, however, they do not take it to this extrema and do not have a problem with men, they just do not want to be with them sexually. This is why they turn to women for sex, because this is who they find more attractive and feel like meets the needs they have.

There are lots of different types of feminism out there in the world, and homo feminist are just one of the many. However, most of them are working toward the same goals, just how they choose to get there could be a little bit different than other ways of getting there. This does not mean that any one way is better than the other. In America you are allowed to feel and say whatever you want because it is the land of the free. So if this is how someone wants to live it should bot be up to me, or anyone else for that matter, to tell them no. If someone feels strongly about something, they will stick with it to the very end. Homo feminist are some of those people that will stick with something that they believe in to the very end. In a way that is good, because if you care about something that much you should at least stick by it.
