What Americans know as the first Thanksgiving took place in the autumn of 1621, when the Pilgrims who had arrived from England to the new world 10 months earlier celebrated their first harvest. The Pilgrims had arrived at Plymouth Rock during the winter and many did not survive this harsh new world. Had it not been for the generosity of the Native Americans none of them may have survived.

Thanksgiving 2006 was successful for most people. There are plenty of picture of Thanksgiving 2006 from all different people that celebrated all around. During the thanks giving holiday many people remember those less fortunate than themselves and they try and help others out in need. Many people during thanks giving give of themselves their time and their money to help out those that are less fortunate.
