In America’s never ending quest to answer the question of how far is too far comes National Underwear Day. The Freshpair underwear company chooses a day in August and declares it National Underwear Day and a day to celebrate the beauty that is underwear. While most people would find the whole idea totally silly very few people seem to be complaining about the models wandering New York City in their underwear.

When you were a kid, did you ever dream of beautiful models walking down the street in nothing but their underwear? Well, I guess a person with a lot of money had the same dream as you, because on August 11 in New York Times Square the National Underwear Day kicks off. This annual event has been going on for over five years, and has been hosted by Fresh Pair. This is a holiday were Fresh Pair sends out their models onto the streets of New York wearing only their lingerie. It is America a grand place to live?

Underwear day is not a day that has a lot of history attached to it. You get to walk around in your underwear and that is basically it. Although this is a good time for some free publicity it isn't really a holiday that has exploded in being famous. Not many people know when underwear day is. And they also don't know what to do on underwear day. So this holiday is more designed to people that know what it is all about.
