A sexy party is an event full of many subtle, and some not so subtle, inferences that anything can happen and everyone is open to the possibility. The prototypical sexy party was any night back at the old Studio 54 in the 1970’s. That was an example of an over the top sexy party as there were rampant amounts of drugs, loud music, and enough open minded people to fill a hockey arena. The stories about the sexy parties at Studio 54 are legendary and some of them actually involve farm animals. Mind you they are just stories but when the sexy party is so over the top that there is rumors of farm animals being involved then you know that you are taking your sexy party way too far. As was expected the authorities stepped in and shut down Studio 54 but not for the sexy party that went on every night, they were shut down over finances. God only knows what the authorities that raided Studio 54 really found in that building. The people that attended the sexy parties at Studio 54 were a who’s who of the rich and famous and only a select group of people were allowed in to the club on any given night. The stories are legendary with nothing but people’s foggy memories to back them up. Come to think of it, that sounds like a pretty fun sexy party after all.

The prototypical sexy party was overplayed in the 1960’s and 1970’s beach movies and movies about rich men looking to spend their money on pretty girls. The scene was always either a group of well toned people running around the beach in skimpy swimsuits during the day and then rolling around in front of the campfire at night or a middle aged man on his yacht with his captain’s uniform on surrounded by beautiful bikini babes. The James Bond movies of the era encapsulate this idea perfectly along with the Frankie and Annette beach movies of the time. As time went on comedians like Benny Hill would take that notion of a sexy party and make a parody of it at least once a show. Nowadays television shows like Family Guy use the notion of a sexy party as a quick joke throwing back to the captain’s uniform and the bikini girls running around the room giggling. The Family Guy parody even stops to throw in a very quick tribute to the music used in those sexy party movies. It makes the notion of a sexy party into a long playing joke and that has to do with the general attitude everyone has towards sex in our society.

Sex is treated as a hush-hush topic and brings about giggles when you discuss it at any age. The people that are truly secure in their sexuality have sexy parties the rest of us only can dream of and even then they probably go beyond our imagination. You need a good sense of self to really consider going to a truly sexy party and an even greater sense of your own sexuality to host one. Being a leader of men on the football field does not always translate into suave leader of women at a sexy party. New York City seems to be the Mecca of sexy parties and there are probably at least half a dozen or more places you can check out in New York City if you want to see a real sexy party. Be warned though it may not be what you thought it would be and it may not look like anything you have seen in the movies. Real sex always looks so much different than anything we see in a movie or television show.
