Free Crafts for the holidays can be Creative

The holiday season is all about having fun with family and friends. Most people during the holiday season go shopping in stores or online in order to purchase presents for others. In addition to purchasing gifts for others, people may wish to create some beautiful crafts for their friends, family, and their co-workers.

The holiday season is all about having fun with friends and family. Most people do many things in groups during the holiday season ranging from eating together to going to the movies. In fact, sometimes during the holiday season groups participate in cookie exchanges or pot lucks. Perhaps doing several cookie exchanges could and would count as a many free crafts for the holiday season. A cookie exchange involves a group of people, usually about six to eight people baking a variety of cookies and then getting together at a house or a restaurant an exchange them. For example, a person bakes eight dozen gingerbread cookies, another person bakes eight dozen chocolate chip cookies, and another person bakes eight dozen oatmeal raisin cookies, and another person bakes eight dozen snickererdoodles chocolate or regular, and so and so and exchange all of the different kinds of cookies. Therefore, each person will end up with seven dozen cookies (they will not get a dozen of the cookie that they baked for the cookie exchange). The cookie exchange could be pleasurable for everyone because everyone likes to create beautiful and delicious free crafts.

There are many places where people can locate free crafts such as a crafts place. Michael’s is a crafts store that is located in California. Michael’s craft store has a variety of crafts and projects that people who love a particular type of craft such as doll making or candle making that people can participate in with other people who love either doll or candle making. In fact, almost all of Michael’s craft classes are free crafts classes so that all people who wish to start crafting or people who have been crafting for years can feel good about creating a beautiful crafts to give to their loved one or keep for themselves. In addition, people can purchase classes to give as holiday gifts to friends, family, and co-workers. These Christmas crafts projects are perfect for people who like the ballet called The Nutcracker Suite. The comment about The Nutcracker Suite is a little joke. Below are the directions for making a sugar plum house:

Basecoat the entire house Snow White and let the house dry completely. Paint the house and the chimney Baby Pink and paint the roofs Camel. Then, paint the trees Mint Julep Green with Snow White icing lines. Next, add True Red stripes to candy canes, awnings, windows, and door trim. Paint the inner portion of star on the tree Baby Pink and the outer portion of the star True Red. Be sure to paint the holly leaves Mint Julep Green with True Red berries. Finally, when completely dry, add Craft Twinkles to Snow White icing, candy canes, other candy, tree, and ground areas.

In addition to Michael’s craft store there are other places where creative people and would be creative people can find free crafts to design and to give as gifts to family, friends, co-workers. Some cooking and baking schools will allow people who are good at a certain technique to help teach or clean up after the cooking or baking class.
