I have visited the city of West Palm Beach many times and even had a few friends living there. In fact, it became my home away from home for several years. The city is located on Florida's east coast and is minutes away from beaches and the Atlantic Ocean. The city itself is fairly quiet and offers palm tree lined streets, cozy shopping districts, nightlife, entertainment and lots of beautiful scenery. Gonkenco.com reported that the city is 17th in the state in population growth and one of the nation's fastest growing cities. Gokenco.com also reported that an average of 2,000 new people moved into Palm Beach County each month. The county itself is almost 50 miles of palm tree scattered beach and makes for breathtaking views and remarkable real estate. Donald Trump at one point even owned a mansion in the county. Prices here for houses are a bit high, however, the industry is booming and buying real estate in the city of West Palm Beach is a great investment.

But if you're not interested in buying, merely visiting, the city has a lot to offer in those areas also. Martini bars and nightclubs line a section of the city and provide fun, exciting adult entertainment great for business or pleasure. The entertainment is being compared lately to Tampa's Ybor city, because of the variety of clubs and bars it provides now. Of course, the city is basically right on the Atlantic Ocean, so beachfront fun is at one's fingertips. The city of West Palm Beach also offers wonderful outdoor museum auditoriums and features the SunFest; Florida's largest annual waterfront art and music festival. Many big music artists are also attracted to the city's growing popularity and such acts as Dave Matthews Band and U2 often play here. Palm Beach County also offers a variety of family orientated actives, too, such as the Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Place, as well as the Norton Museum of Art. This museum offers exhibits in America, European and Chinese contemporary art.

As you can see, the city of West Palm Beach is a growing city with many exciting things. It's beach side beauty and elegance can rival that of Palm Beach, California. Its remarkable real estate makes it a haven for any mogul, investor or even family. And it's array of actives make coming to West Palm Beach a fun place!
