What is adoptism in the true sense and are adoptism and adoption signifying the same meaning? It can be said at best that it happens to be a belief that the formation of a family by birth happens to be superior to the stabilization of a family by adoption. It is also a belief that says eloquently, keeping a child with his/her biological parents is inherently better than placing a child for adoption. According to it, growing up as an adopted person is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities.
