In any school playground in the world, you will see both little boys and girls playing with a skipping rope during recess. Skip rope has been practised for centuries, with it being popular amongst young children as it doesn't cost a lot of money to start up (only a rope is required) and can be practised alone or in small groups of two or three. Skipping rope is also practised both a fun activity and as an exercise to lose weight.

Starting with preschool or kindergarten children go to school in order to learn social skills and many academic subjects such as writing, reading, mathematics, and science. Each of these subjects is taught so that each grade level can grasp them. In addition to learning those subjects' elementary students have recess.
