Anyone who was born after the late 1960's knew what the game "Twister" is. However, those who are not really all that familiar with the game, here is a little summary of it. Twister is a game made of a plastic sheet that has green, yellow, blue and red circles placed consecutively all over it. The game uses a spinner to tell you where you should put either your left foot or hand or right foot and hand. Then you put that particular hand or foot on the specified color. The more people you play with the better the game is. Before long you will find yourself all wrapped up with other players.

For years people all over the country, and all over the world, have been playing Twister. What is it about this game that causes such excitement? Why does it keep selling so many years after its creation? I was always curious how total strangers could get involved with playing a game like Twister. Depending on the crowd, it can be one of the most obvious game to choose.

The game Twister is known primarily as a children's game or as a game for young people, but the truth is that the Twister board game can be as much fun for adults as it is for the young people that enjoy it all through childhood. The game Twister can be a lot of fun for adults once they let their guard down, but it can take some time for adults to adjust to the idea of playing Twister. Once you get a few rounds of Twister going, everybody will want to take their own turn on the board.

Of all the games that I remember as a child, I never had the opportunity to play the twister. Not sure why. The twister always looked kooky to me and this was probably reinforced by my 4 brothers. The whole idea of spinning the wheel and placing your hands and feet on different colored circles was plain silly, not to mention painful and contorted. At least in my 10 year old mind it was. But then time passed and I went off to college. And I discovered just how great a game Twister really was...when you're naked.
