Few sports have been knocked down only to rise back up again like roller hockey. In its purest form roller hockey is simply ice hockey on roller skates but there have been different forms of the game around for a long time and they are repeatedly starting and then stopping leagues all over the world. One form of roller hockey even found its way into the Olympics but its stay was brief.
