The first step to a great girls party is to make a list of guests. It is best to follow what is known as the age rule. The rule is to invite the same number of guest as the age of the child. For example, if a girl is going to turn nine years old, nice guests should be invited to the girls party. This guarantees that there are plenty of friends to enjoy the celebration, but not so many that they are difficult to control.

For example, a girls party can be a “dress a grown-up” party in which girls can wear their mother’s dresses and perhaps some inexpensive but sparkling jewelry. This should be mentioned in the invitation, and if the theme will require planning on the guest’s behalf, it is prudent to contact the parents.
The great characteristics about having a dress-up girls party is that one of the girls party games everyone can play, is to all sit down and have a makeup game. Inexpensive mirrors can be purchased, along with loads of colorful makeup. As the girls are all dressed up in sparking clothes, they can have a bunch of enjoyment with a large spread of makeup on the table. Girls will love putting on eye shadow, lipsticks and blush; as they attempt to see what they will look like when they are older.
Food of course will be necessary. To cut down on stress and time spent in the kitchen, pizza can be ordered and delivered for this girls party. The majority children can not resist pizza. After the food is complete, a birthday cake can be served. Presents can then be opened and this will lead the night into time to make way for the sleep-over.
It is a fun thing to just allow the girls to all sleep in the living room. Furniture can be moved around to make room on the floor for all the quests. A bunch of blankets can be put down, ensuring a soft base for all the girls to sleep on. At the girls party, the quests will most likely not sleep a lot, as they will stay awake giggling and talking, but that is part of the fun of being a child. On this special night, exceptions should be made regarding sleep time.
