Living life as a Los Angeles single involves being on the cutting edge of technology. Trendy is not a word here, it is an obsession. We do have one positive attribute that practically no other place in the world can claim:  that is sunshine! Los Angeles has the world's best weather. So swim a little swim.

It is the latest approach to dating services.  It is called Wing Girls (Kinris, 2005). However, with hundreds of internet love matching sites and dating services to choose from, why not just try the old fashion way. When a Los Angeles single visits friends and family, or traveling, or in a social event, be visible and catch attention. Focus and analyze the audience.  Choose the topic of conversation and resist the temptation to throw in everything about the subject. For the non-pretentious LA singles; visit the Bungalow Club at Melrose and La Brea with its' Tango classes, Monday night live jazz band, Wednesday comedy clubs, Saturday pajama brunch, and its' awesome Moroccan theme. Dinner is fabulous when you are single and willing. Let's not forget the Martinis! Enjoy upstairs when you feel like socializing or dancing with a date. Who can think of a one-stop arena for having a fantastic time? Even for a low-key Los Angeles single, an evening out into the town in Studio City's Mexicali Cantina and their famous flavored Margatini's (a Margarita served in a Martini glass with an extra shot of Tequila) or even the ambience in Sherman Oak's Casa Vega (Cadillac Margarita's) could prove an eventful night. Speaking of tomorrow, what we do not know will not hurt us. Just hear a kiss; listen to the whisper. 

Word of advice: the overwhelming fact: California singles must earn $12.50/hour just to pay "bare bones" expenses.
