I believe when spending the night at someone’s house your child should have some form of contacting you, through a cell phone or the new fly phones that they have because you just never know what could happen and as a parent you should always be prepared for the worst even if it never happens because you can never be to prepared.

You must make sure your child knows that if he she is attacked by a dog to cover both neck and face. Also to call for help as much as possible but very important is to keep neck and face covered at all times. Most children are learning to take Karate and self defense classes. I believe someone should offer these classes free. That way kids rich or poor can take a class to help them learn what to do if ever attacked.
