Ok finally the day has come for you to start planning that wedding you have always dreamed of but once looking at it all you see the dollar signs rise and rise and rise! But don't fear there are plenty of ways you can cut costs and still be able to have the perfect wedding Sydney style.
If you are having your wedding at a church, hotel or other hired venue then the costs can creep up on you but there are a couple of things you can do to lower them a bit like if it is a church and you are the member of the church that's great because usually you don't have to pay the service of the minister but if you aren't a member then the best way to cutting costs is not hiring the runner, not using service booklets and not using the organ, bring your own music. Talk to the minister as they will be able to tell you what are optional and what is not. With other hired venues the best way to cut cost is to have only the people who need to be seated, seated. This saves you having to pay for hiring chairs, again talk to the manager and see what other things are optional. If you don't want your wedding to be in doors you can cut venue costs all together, there are many beautiful parks, gardens and beaches in Sydney and most times all you need is permission from the council to have your wedding there. You could even have your wedding Sydney Harbor side if you like. All you need to pay for is the celebrant.
Again there are many ways to save when it comes to your reception. If you hire a venue don't use their crockery and cutlery and other such faculties and even opt to use your own caterer as this will save you buy paying by head even if people do not turn up. Or you could do it completely free and have it in the park or on a beach.
This would have to be one of the most costly things to any wedding and still you can have the dress of your dreams with out all the costs. When shopping for a dress, either hire one, this costs a fraction of the price of buying one. If you would like one that you can keep then why not ask your mother or your grandmother if you can use their dress or check out discount wedding stores on the internet or go to the Sydney Wedding Expo, they always have stock that is marked down to the fraction of the price to get more stock in and your groom can hire.
Video and photography, right here you are easily looking at a few thousand dollars especially for a wedding in Sydney but there are two ways you can cut the costs. The first one is to go to expo's and have a look around at the services, some are new to the wedding profession and will give you a great price to get your business. The other option is by using university students, this will save you a ton of cash and I mean a ton and they will do just as good of job as they need the experience and probably use them in their portfolio.
Florists, this is another expensive service again there are many ways to cut costs like buying flowers that are in season and easy to get or go to a wedding Sydney expo's and find one that is new at the market and they will do it for you at a great price. Another way is to have silk flowers, they're cheap and last forever or go to the flower markets the day before your wedding or on the day, it's a little extra running around but you usually can get twice as many flowers for less than half the price a florist would charge.
Caterers by far these are the most expensive of all wedding Sydney services and it's a cut throat business and everyone will be wanting you to go through them so on your part this is a huge advantage as you can get quotes from various caterers and take them to different caterers and they will beat it, usually doing this will save you a few hundred dollars. Or you could always do the food yourself, you'll get much more food for your money and you can have any type of food you want.
Well these are just a few ideas to save on your perfect wedding Sydney style, hunt around as there are definitely heaps more savings that you can achieve, you are only limited by your will, determination and imagination when it comes to planning your wedding in Sydney.
