Corporate Xmas Is All Over The Place

Added: 11/22/2007

Every year when Xmas rolls around, a lot more comes with it than just time with family and friends. We also tend to get corporate Xmas, and everything that goes with it. See, during Xmas, businesses tend to make most of their money, and they are not going to miss the chance to cash in on it. Corporate Xmas knows that kids are going to ask for toys during Xmas, and it is a great time to make some great money. Because of this Xmas turns into a from of advertising, and not a holiday to spend with your family.

A lot of people feel that corporate Xmas is starting to kill off the true meaning behind Xmas. They are teaching people that Xmas is a time to buy for and receive presents from people, and really that is not what Xmas is about. However, it is almost hard to blame the big time companies for trying to cash in on Xmas. During Xmas is the time when the economy is booming, and it is the perfect chance to get your products moving. In fact, a lot of companies save there best products for Xmas time because they tend to move more units that way. Just look at the video game industry. They know that corporate Xmas is the best time for them to sell the latest video games. In fact, just before corporate Xmas, we tend to see a lot less video games come out. This way when Xmas comes around they have a lot of big time video games that just went on sale. In fact, usually video games are one of the number one selling items during the holiday season. If you know when your product is going to sell the best, and they choose that time to sell it, then you are going to move more units, it is that simple. In fact, you have to hand it to the video game industry, they know what works, and they stick with it. However, as much as we hate to admit it, companies are not the only ones that befits from corporate Xmas time. In fact, we tend to see a lot more jobs opening up during this time. This helps out everyone as a whole.

I know we do not like thinking about corporate Xmas being a good thing, but in some ways it is. This is because more businesses are doing more business, and because of that they need more workers. If you have to hire more workers, that means that more people have jobs that they can get. This in the long run helps out everyone. In fact, during the holiday season jobs are at a all time high, and that works out great. However, it still means that people are celebrating Xmas for the wrong reason. After all, if we do not know the true meaning behind Xmas, then there is no point on us trying to celebrate it. After all, it is not about buying and giving gifts. I mean, sure this is a nice thing to do, and it does help bring families together, but that is not the only reason why families should be coming together on Xmas. This should be a time that you want to spend with your families. However, too many people now look at Xmas as, not only a time to spend with family, but as a time to get presents. This is sad that big businesses turn our children into people that do not know the true meaning behind Xmas. However, this does not mean that corporate Xmas cannot be stopped. If we all ban together we could stop corporate Xmas, but is that what we really want. If we stop corporate Xmas, what have we gotten out of it? I will tell you what we got, less jobs. That is not going to help anyone out in the long run. In fact, that sets people up for a bad Xmas because their family has no money, and I do not think that is what you want to happen.

So as you can see, corporate Xmas is both good and bad. Sometimes that is what happens. You have to take the good with the bad. It does not happen very often that you can just have one or the other. Usually you have to take both of them together, and corporate Xmas is an example of that. So do not try and put a stop to corporate Xmas, it helps out too many people. However, you can help keep the spirit of Xmas alive by teaching your children the true meaning of Xmas.
