Cooperation Of Instant Messengers Still Unsolved

Instant messaging through various service providers is so common these days that a person cannot go about without using instant messengers. Now cell phones and different electrical devices are in the market that enable a user to instant message anyone through the internet. But one problem faced in instant messaging is there is not cooperation of instant message service providers which causes but of a problem or hassle for people.
Cooperation of instant messaging has been two different things since the service of instant messaging has been introduced to the people over the internet. Although instant messaging is easy, fast and convenient than phone calls or meeting in person and yes it can surely not replace the importance and impact of meeting someone in person but friends, colleagues, roommates, online boyfriend or a girlfriend can stay in contact through this awe-inspiring technology.

There are different instant messaging networks that have their own protocols and clients with their own personal instant messengers that can only add people on the same network. Example a person having a yahoo email address cannot be added by a person using a Windows Live Messenger with a hotmail account. This way people either have like 4-5 different instant messengers signed in at a time and definitely it makes it harder to cope up with the messages being received by every instant messenger as there is no cooperation of instant messenger networks.

A friend that you have might not use a hotmail account and be on AOL, another friend might use a hotmail account and so on. This way to keep in touch with all these friends or colleagues you would want three different instant messengers which is just crazy. For a couple of days it might be fun or cool to talk on different instant messengers but to be honest after a while the person just gives up and sticks to one instant messenger probably the one where he or she has most of their friends.

As the development has been rapidly increasing in the field of information technology it’s still surprising we have not come up with a solution to the problem of cooperation of instant messengers. Some of the computer geniuses did introduced Trillian. This is a software that allows you to sign into multiple messengers at the same time with just one software. This software had multiple protocols for all the famous instant messengers like ICQ, AOL, MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger. But apparently it was in the lime light for a while but was completely out of the picture and still is. As the new versions of instant messengers are coming month after month with new features and tools. To keep up with that pace the trillion software had to be continuously updated too but I guess that did not happen. It was although a very good software new and exciting to use but now it’s hard to find a Trillian software to sign into the new versions of all the instant messengers that are available now.

Probably there might be some software pros out there who might be working on this software right now and we might be able to use it in a couple of months. With all the problems we have found a solution too this problem is not too big after all and will be resolved soon. If this does happen cooperation of instant messengers would be absolutely awesome as you won’t need multiple instant messengers signed in to keep in touch with your contacts. Cooperation of instant messengers can cause a lot of change in the world of internet bringing people even a lot closer and easy to get in touch with.
