Article summary: Easter 2006 falls on Sunday, April 16th. We tend to link Easter with the resurrection of Jesus Christ and there's nothing wrong with that. But like a lot of truly fun events that sprung out of our Pagan past, The Catholic Church beat the tar out of anything that veered even slightly from the teachings of the Church.
