City Of Lost Children Is A Favorite Among Many People

One of my favorite movies of all time is The City of Lost Children that was directed by Marc Caro. This is a movie that has such a different plot than any other movie that I have ever seen, and I think that is what makes it so great. The City of Lost Children is also related to some other previous films called Delicatessen and Amelie. However, this is like no movie (or plot) that you have ever heard of before, and it is great to watch. In fact, so great they ended up making a video game from it; to make a game from a movie, it has to have a great storyline.
The thing that makes The City of Lost Children such a great movie is, of course, the plot. Now, do not get me wrong, the director and the actors are just as great, but none of that would matter without this plot. The whole storyline is about a, kind of, mad scientist that is played by Daniel Emilfork. His characters name is Krank, and he lives by himself on a old oil rig that sits just off the coast of the French city Dickensian. Now, as you may have guessed, Krank has a problem, and this problem is so bad that it is causing him to appear old before his time. In The City of Lost Children, Krank does not have the ability to dream at night. Because of this he chooses to use a group of sinister men, called Cyclops', to kidnap young children from the near by city. Krank chooses to steal the kids so he can extract their dreams while they are sleeping so he can have them. These Cyclops' have no sight, but they have been given what Krank calls a third eye, which is not really an eye at all, but the ability to hear very well. Of course, because of this, there ears are very sensitive, and it becomes a burden instead of something grand. In fact, you see in the movie that even the slight sound of someone eating can hurt their ears very badly. However, in the movie, The City of Lost Children, Krank's plane starts going bad.

So in The City of Lost Children Krank chooses to kidnap kids using the Cyclops' to steal their dreams. However, for the kids, being kidnap at night by a Cyclops is not something that is going to give you a pleasant dream. In fact, it turns out to be so traumatic for the children that they end up only having nightmares for Krank to steal from them. As you can see, the storyline behind this movie is like no other movie that you have ever heard of. As I told you before, The City of Lost Children has such a great storyline that a video game came out for the film. This game came out on the Sony Playstation, and was released in parts of Europe and all over the United States. Before you choose to run out and go get this game, you should know that it is very hard to find, and you may not be able to obtain a copy. To find this game you are going to have to look online at a site like Ebay. Because the game is so hard to find, when you do find it, you are going to see that it is more than likely going to cost a lot of money. Not a lot of people in the United States have heard of the movie, The City of Lost Children, and I think that is why the game is so hard to find now. Not many people know what the game was about, and it did not sell very well. However, this movie is still great, and really something that you and your friends should go see.

I have never in all my life watched a movie like The City of Lost Children, and I think that is why it is one of the best movies of all time. When I go to watch a movie, I want it to be a movie that I have never seen before, and a movie that is new and different. Well, that is what you are going to get when you sit down to watch The City of Lost Children. You are going to get a movie that has a plot like no other movie out there on the market, and is going to blow you away. If you do choose to watch this movie, you are going to have to watch the movie in sub titles, unless you are able to understand French. However, even if you are going to have to read the whole movie, it is still a movie that I think you are going to love; and a movie that you are going to want in your DVD collection.
