The main tropical pool in Cariba Creek is Lagoona Bay, which features water cannons, geysers and waterfalls. There is a mini Lagoona Bay for kids as well. One of Cariba Creek’s principal attractions is the gigantic Tree House. It has waterguns as well as devices to squirt passing people with. The Master Blaster is the main ride in the park that offers views of Cariba Creek. This is a “watercoaster” that propels you at high speed, soaring you up and down. Imagine the experience! If you would prefer a slow water feature, Lazy River will take you underneath water jets and buckets of water.
No matter what the weather is outside, it is always tropical inside Cariba Creek thanks to the 50,000 sq ft domed roof over it. This is as if a dozen huge hairdryers have been used to inflate this roof. For the convenience of visitors, there is a shop by Cariba Creeks Reception that sells various types of swimming gears.
A tremendous amount of hard work combined with innovative ideas and skills have given Cariba Creek the shape it is presently in. The way the huge quantity of water surrounding Cariba Creek has been used to set up this fabulous waterpark is just amazing. It was on June 1, 2003 that the Cariba Creek water park was first opened for the exclusive use of guests from either hotel. About a year later in 2004, Cariba Creek was thrown open to visitors not staying in one of the hotels, albeit in exchange for an admission fee. The waterpark is soon set to add yet another waterslide to its existing attractions.
A member of the European Waterparks Association, Schwaben Quellen or Swabian Springs in English, offers visitors different varieties of baths, steam rooms and saunas. You can buy a meal using the wristband from an indoor restaurant that overlooks some of the baths. The wristband plays the role of a key and a locator as well. It is coded for the locker into which the visitors keep their clothing and personal effects. The wristband also serves as point of contact, with an embedded microchip which keeps track of the bathers throughout the facility.
