Human beings started out naked. However, Eve enticed Adam to eat the apple in the Garden of Eden humans got too embarrassed to wear no clothes at all on an everyday basis. Therefore, human beings needed something to cover up. Clothes served this purpose for human beings. Early clothing consisted of fig leaves. Fig leaves probably served for both causal wear and business wear.
Modern business dress could consist of dresses or conservative business suits. However, today modern business dress could consist of dress pants and dress shirts that are placed under a cardigan or blazer. Some professionals wish to dress in monochromatic colors which means that these business professionals would dress for work in one color from head to toe such as black, brown, or navy blue. However, many business professionals love to wear many different colors. Therefore, they have many colors of clothing in their business and pleasure wardrobes. Sometimes, business professional like to wear either like to wear purple or red because both the color red and the color purple are very strong and powerful colors. These two colors are said to promote confidence in the work place. Moreover, purple is the color of royalty. Therefore, it is possible that business people who wear a bit of purple or much purple to work will feel like kings or queens while in meetings and at their computers. A very elegant and pretty color combination could be gray and pink. Therefore, modern business dress could consist of a clock block suit of grey and light pink. A gray and pink color block suit could be a great mixture of both masculine and feminine business dress styles. This is because the color gray has often been considered a more masculine color and the color pink has often been considered a more feminine color.
Today’s business dress is a bit more relaxed than years ago. So, it could be called casual business attire. However, causal business attire doesn’t include such things as wearing sandals or flip flops to work, wearing tee shirts to work, wearing shorts to work, or a bathing suit to work; although, lifeguards do wear bathing suits to work as a portion of their professional uniform. For most professionals wearing those clothing items to work is very unprofessional and a fashion faux pas. Even professionals that have to wear uniforms as a part of their work such as chefs and dancers don’t wear either shorts or sandals to work. Therefore, today’s business dress is a bit more relaxed but it isn’t a fashion free for all. However, today’s business dress is fashionable.
