Bill Murray is one of those actors that just about everyone in America knows about, because he has been in so many big hits. Also, all the movies that he is in are so funny that they are hard to forget about. Billy Murray is so funny that you can really have him acting in just about any movie, and he will fit the part perfect. Two of his movies that he is well known for are Stripes and Rushmore. However, his role in the funny Caddyshack movies really jump started his career. Of course, Bill Murray is also very well known for his role in the Ghostbusters movies. These were big hits, and help make an even bigger name out of Bill Murray. In 1989, he played in another movie, the long awaited sequel to Ghostbusters. This movie was, of course, another big hit when it came out. Of course, later on he tried his own hand at making movies when he directed Quick Change. Of course, I do not think he got the response he was looking for. Later on in 1991, he played the role of Bob in the movie called What About Bob? He was also in some movies that did not come out too long ago including, Lost In Translation and Broken Flowers. Both of these movies where loved by critics, but some fans did not care for them as much. However, I liked them, and they were very off beat comedies.

So, you can say that Bill Murray has been in a lot of movies, but what was the best movie that he was ever in? Well, that really depends on what movies you liked the most. However, for me the best movie I think that Bill Murray was in has to be Groundhog Day. This is an American classic, and was also a box office smash hit. In this movie Bill Murray plays a reporter that is going to a small little town to do a report on a groundhog. However, he gets suck in a loop, and everyday is the same day over and over again. Every morning where he wakes up, it is Groundhog Day again. You never know for how long he is suck in this loop, but he is the only one that knows that it is happening. So in his unlimited spare time he learns to do a lot of things. Of course, it is not until he changes the kind of person he is, until the day stops looping on him. You never know why the days were doing that, but that is one thing that makes the movie so great. Also, some of the things Bill Murry says and does in the movie are so funny that you just have to see it. In fact, I have seen some interviews with some people that have made movies with Billy Murry, and they say that he is so funny to work with that you are not going to stop laughing the whole time. So he must be funny on, and off the screen as well.

Bill Murray is one of my favorite people to watch in a movie. In fact, I love watching his movies so much that I have a lot of his movies on DVD in my own DVD collection. Once you see his movies you are going to want them in your collection as well. If you have not seen his movies, you can probably rent them for about a dollar at your local video store, just because they are older movies that came out in the late 80's, early 90's. However, I think that it is great that he keeps making movies, even today. All the movies that I have seen him in are great, and I hope that he goes on and keeps making movies for a long time to come. Bill Murray is not like any actor that you have ever seen on the big screen, and once you watch his movies, you will see what I am talking about.
