The tubing slide called Banana Peel is for the adventurous of heart among you. It is about 298 feet long and this ride is intense so you must meet the over 48” tall requirement of height.
Grab yourself a tube and sit back and relax awhile on the Cattail Creek which is a lazy 640 ft. river that lets you drift around leisurely while enduring the mild currents.
Do your kid’s love to visit he playgrounds, then the Sun Fish Bay is the perfect place for them to go at Tropicanoe Cove. The most fun they can have is here with several water sprayers, fountains, levers for turning and buckets for dumping on themselves or others all while being surrounded with water.
They may also want to visit Dolphin Delights at Tropicanoe Cove IN. This slide features dolphins in three above a great slide specifically for the toddlers in mind, that is why a height under 48” is required for this ride.
The Toucans Chute is for the older kids in the group, it is a very energetic dropping slide that places riders right into the leisure main pool at the Tropicanoe Cove Park.
Hours for the Tropicanoe Cove located in Lafayette Indiana are for summer months only, daily from 11am until 7pm except on Wednesdays when the park opens at 11am until 8pm that night.
Toddlers 0 years to 2 years of age are admitted freely with no charge. Weekday admissions for adults and children who reach over the 48” are $5.00 and after 4 pm is $3.50, weekend admission is at a rate of $6.50. Weekday admissions for children who are under the 48” height are $4.00 and on the weekends it is $5.50. If you are an adult and do not plan on swimming , just to supervise and watch the children there is only a $2.00 fee for admission on all days of operation.
Gather your whole family together in the Frogs Pond at Tropicanoe Cove; you will enjoy clear crystal like water, about 167,000 gallons to be exact. The entry depth is at zero, which means it is friendly for all kids. Mom and Dad can take a breather and unwind in a comfortable beach chair complete with their very own beach umbrella while the little ones frolic away in the shallowest end of the pond. There is a deeper end for older children that are as high as their waist.
