Christmas is a wonderful time of year. Christmas is at the end of the holiday season. And it is about spending time with friends, family, and eating and making delicious food. Christmas foods can include turkey; honey baked ham, deviled eggs, green bean casserole, eggnog, pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie, and a variety of cookies. There can also be many varieties of potatoes on the Christmas food table including twice baked potatoes, potatoes au gratin, and baked potatoes. In addition to Christmas being about a variety of delicious foods, it is also about participating in a variety of Christmas entertainment such as singing a Xmas carol or two with friends and family around the piano or going from house to house singing about Santa Claus, snowmen, and Christmas trees. Singing Christmas carols on Christmas Eve is very pleasurable for both children and adults.

Singing Christmas carols is a very festive and joyous way to celebrate the Christmas holiday. In many malls and in front of major department stores there are always a group of well dressed carolers wishing the many happy and joyous shoppers that are rushing from shop to shop with all of their Christmas presents and treasures for themselves, friends, and family. The Christmas carolers that are in malls and major department stores are probably placed there in order to relieve some of the holiday shoppers stress so that they can relax and enjoy the holiday season. Many people like to enjoy a nice hot cup of cocoa or flavored tea while they watch people ice skating on the rink in the center of the mall while they listen to Christmas carolers sing a Xmas carol or two. Many people have a favorite Xmas carol or two. In addition to people having a favorite Xmas carol or two; several holiday movies have a great Xmas carol in them. For instance, Irving Berlin’s song White Christmas was used in the movie called White Christmas staring Bing Crosby.

Many people have a favorite Xmas carol or two that they know all of the words to and that they sing very loudly in front of their friends and family during the holiday season. People who do this tend to love to sing Christmas carols also love to join in and sing with a group of Christmas carolers during the holiday season. I happen to enjoy listening to Christmas carols on the radio for about an hour or two on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day. I am a big fan of the Christmas carols White Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, The Twelve Days of Christmas, Silver Bells, Carol of the Bells, and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. A Xmas carol or two always puts me in the holiday sprit and drives me to purchase and wrap gifts, make much delicious entrees, side dishes, and desserts, give to my favorite charities, and put me in a very happy mood. Christmas carols are a part of great holiday entertainment for everybody.

Christmas is a very special time of year because it is a time to spend with friends and family in order to catch up on what is happening in people’s lives and to eat delicious food. In addition, family members like to engage in many forms of holiday entertainment such as going to the movies, going to see Miracle on 34th or the Nutcracker Suite which might include a favorite Xmas carol or two.
