Of course, the role that got Keira Knightley notice would have to be the movie called Bend It Like Beckham. This movie grossed more than 18 million dollars. Not bad for one of your first movies where you play the lead role. Of course, right now Keira Knightley is most well known for her role in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. In this set of movies she stars alongside Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp himself. Of course, the movie that got her nominated for a Academy Award was the movie Pride and Prejudice, where she played the role of Elizabeth Bennet. If you have never read or seen Pride and Prejudice, then this is the movie for you to see.

Keira Knightley is a great actress that can do anything that she puts her mind to. After all, she has great talents and she looks fantastic. That is a double good think for you in Hollywood. I mean, if you look good but cannot act, that does not help the movie. If you can act but you are hard on the eyes, then it really does not help the movie either. When you can put both of these great things together, that is when you have a great actress on your hands.
