In the Auyuittuq National Park in Nunavut, there are only 12 different species of mammals that live there. Some of the different animals you will see in Nunavut Canada would be the Lemmings, Ermine, and of course the Arctic Hare. Of course, if you are lucky you may also find the Arctic Fox and the Polar bear as well. When you are at the Auyuittuq National Park in Nunavut the nearest towns to you are going to be the Pangnirtung and Oikiqtarjuaq. Before you enter the Auyuittuq National Park in Nunavut you have to register at the park office. However, the park office is not at the park itself it is at one of the two towns I listed above. Of course, before you can finish registering and go to the park, you have to attend the orientation session. However, this is a good thing to do because it is very cold there, and you have to know what to do if something goes wrong. Just like a lot of other national parks, there are some park user fees that do apply. If you choose to go backpacking through the Auyuittuq National Park in Nunavut, you are more than likely going to use the Akshayuk Pass.
This is a great place to take your family and you are going to be amazed by all the great views that you are going to see. This really is a place that is a place that you are never going to be able to forget about because of how pretty the views are. There is nothing like watching the sunset on some of the glaciers in the park. Also, if you are in for a really good time, you should try camping out there in the wilderness. Of course, do remember that it is very cold out there, and you are going to need to be ready for that. This might be something that you would rather do with adults, rather than your whole family. This is because kids usually do not like the cold weather, and may not have a good time. However, taking them during the day would be a good idea. This is so they can enjoy the national park as well. This is a place that everyone is going to love to visit.
