Ambulomancy is the divination by walking to and from places. Watching a walker and what choices he makes can determine patterns in his life. It is said we make plenty of choices as we walk through life and so, these choices can lead down a good or bad road depending on which we choose to tread.

Many people like to watch others and see if they can predict where they will go. Other times, they will try to manipulate the walker into making choices that the reader wants them to make. This is unfair because then the walker's future will not be correct or even close to what it should be. The reading should be fair and not full of any bias or push in any direction.

Some computer programmers try to make up programs to figure out which way a walker will go on his journey. These lead to certain patterns that may lead to different paths in the future. These may lead to good roads full of wealth or bad roads full of despair. So the walker has to make his choices carefully and think about what he wants to accomplish so that the reader will get a good idea what he is trying to do.
