A Jewish Single needs a mate

As children we are taught to socialize by getting to know and get along with other people. No man is an island so we need people in order to survive. We communicate with others on a daily basis; although some people like to be alone and identify themselves as loners. However, many people don't wish to be alone and single their entire lives.

As children we are taught to socialize and play with other children. If fact, if children don’t learn to socialize and play with other children when they are young some educators and doctors believe that there is something wrong with these type of children. These kinds of children are often labeled as loners or anti social. Also, children who don’t socialize and play with other children are often labeled as quiet and other children might label them as weird and stay away from them or start rumors about them. However, rest assured that most kids seem to be socialized and play with other children by the time they get to preschool or kindergarten. Socialization is very important in society because no human is an island and needs other people in order to survive in the world. Most people don’t wish to be loners and also wish to locate a life partner to grow old with. Nowadays life partners can be either homosexual or heterosexual. In addition, life partners can practice a variety of religions such as Christianity and Judaism. There are many possibilities for both a Christian single and a Jewish single.

A person who is both Jewish and single may desire to meet another Jewish single to share their lives with. Most dating services have a varied selection of Jewish singles to choose from. Some people are not very religious therefore they will marry anyone as far as religious preference is concerned. However, some people do have a religious preference in regards to their dating life. If a nice Jewish single man or woman is requested, it will not be difficult to locate a nice Jewish single person. This is because there are many social events at synagogues and Jewish community centers such as Friday night Sabbath dinner, ice cream, socials, Jewish film festivals, book fair, barbeques, daces, and Passover Seders for singles. Also, the Jewish culture and religion are big believers in matchmaking. It is claimed that Jews invented the blind date. If people are skeptical about the Jewish culture and matchmaking then, all they have to do is watch either play or the movie called Fiddler on the Roof to learn somewhat about Jewish culture, religion, and tradition.

There are three categories of Jewish people. There are orthodox Jews, conservative Jews, and reform Jews. If people are orthodox Jews then, they will not only have to look for a Jewish single but they will also need to look under the category of orthodox Jewish singles. Orthodox Jews adhere to Jewish religion religiously. Fir instance, orthodox Jews keep strictly kosher which means that they don’t eat pork ever and they don’t mix meat and dairy products together. Also, they always light the Sabbath candles on Friday night after sundown. Moreover, they don’t ever work on Saturdays. In fact, orthodox Jews don’t work on Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, or the first two days of Passover. In contrast, a conservative or reform Jewish single man or woman doesn’t follow Judaism as closely as an orthodox Jewish single man or woman. However, all Jewish single men and women take Judaism seriously.
