This is a man that is a two time Academy Award nominated actor that is also a Golden Globe and Granny Award winner (now that is hard to do). Joaquin Phoenix is one of the greatest actors of all time, and you cannot take that away from him because he has been in so many great movies. He is a man that has been in some of the best movies that we have seen in a long time, and in every movie he is able to play his role one hundred percent. It does not matter what kind of person Joaquin Phoenix has to play, because he can play them all. There have been movies where he has played the hero, and there have been movies where he has played the bad guy, and in each movie he did great. He knows how to act out any part that you give him, and that is something that is hard to do. Most great actors are only good at playing one type of role, and that is why you see them in the same role over and over. Of course, Joaquin Phoenix is not your normal actor.

One of the movies that Joaquin Phoenix is best known for is his portrayal of Commodus in the Gladiator. In this movie he played the bad guy (the person you love to hate). He did a great job in this role, and I figured that he would play the bad guy for the rest of his career because he was so good at it. I mean, he got nominated for an Oscar because of it. However, Joaquin Phoenix proved me wrong because later on he played the role of Johnny Cash in the movie Walk the Line. However, he can do a lot more than just act, he can sing as well. In fact, it was him signing in the movie Walk The Line and he went on to record an album that was a Grammy winner, and that album was the soundtrack to Walk The Line. Of course, Joaquin Phoenix did not get his start in these movies. In fact, he was in an early movie called To Die For in 1995, as he co-stared with Nicole Kidman. Of course, he was also in the movie Quills and in the M. Night Shyamalan's movie the Signs. However, he really enjoyed playing in M. Night Shyamalan movies because he also played in The Village. Then in 2004, he played in Hotel Rwanda and in the great movie Ladder 49 (that was a busy year for him). This is a man that can play any role you give to him. Whether it is an evil empire, a washed up baseball player, or even a heroic firefighter. This is an actor that you are going to want to see.

One reason why Joaquin Phoenix is so great is because he knows how to play any role. After you see some of the movies that he has been in, you are going to want to see them all because none of them are the same. Every movie that he plays in feels so much different than all of the other movies. I guess that is a good thing because everyone knows that he can play any role you give to him. Joaquin Phoenix will keep making good movies as long as he lives, and they are going to be movies that are going to bring you out of your house so you can go see them in the box office. Of course, his movies are not movies that you are going to want to rent, because after you see them you are going to want to watch them more than once. You are going to have to watch them more than once to see what a great job he does acting out all of his parts in all his movies.
