Advice for a Chico Single

After a young person has lived in one area for quite some time then he or she frequently has difficulty locating interesting places to take a date. This is a time when some outside help could prove invaluable. Below it has been demonstrated that, thanks to the Internet, such outside help is now much more accessible.

Ninety miles north of Sacramento, California live a number of young people who would like to find a suitable soul mate. There in the town of Chico, CA reside a group of individuals each of whom wants to meet a person who could be called their "better half."

The following information has been prepared with a view to giving some advice to the Chico single.

First of all, take heart that the Chico of today is much larger than the Chico, California of more than one hundred and thirty years ago. At its founding in 1872 the city of Chico covered only 6.6 square miles and had a population of 1,000. By 2005 the city of Chico had expanded to an area of 29 square miles, and the Chico population had expanded to a size that included 73, 558 individuals. In this larger population there is bound to be another Chico single who could provide some searching soul with a pleasant dating partner.

If there is another Chico single out there, how does a young adult find that available single? One way for finding such available singles is by preparing and submitting an ad for the Chico personals section. Yet it is possible that one or more Chico single shies away from submitting such an ad. After all, a positive response would require a male to study the available dating venues. Many single adults feel inadequate when it comes time to pick a location for a date.

The city of Chico actually offers to the Chico single several different locales at which it is possible to entertain a date. Some of these locales are located on the campus of California State University (CSU), Chico.  The Chico single could benefit from a study of the planned public events directed at the community of young adults on the campus of CSU, Chico.

Perhaps the campus paper also has a section that will accept ads intended to be Chico personals. The Chico single needs to check out that possibility. Once a Chico single has located and sent ads to all of the relevant newspaper sections, then he or she needs to expand beyond the CSU Chico campus the constant quest for possible dating theaters.

If the weather man predicts good weather, then the Chico single needs to consider taking a date to an outdoor attraction. Perhaps the Chico single wants to join with a date for a walk in Bidwell Park. This Park is one of the nation's largest municipally owned parks.  Perhaps the singles that are searching for a date could make plans to go on a walking tour of Chico. Such tours leave every Saturday at 10 am, noon and 2 pm from the Stansbury Home Lawn.

If the weather man is predicting rain, then the Chico single should pull out the list of foul weather possibilities. This list might include Chico Museum and Bidwell Mansion. The Mansion was the home of Bidwell, the founder of Chico. He built the mansion for his wife in 1868.

For the Chico Single who wants to take a date to a local night spot there is always a pair of cafes. The Steakhouse and Black Crow both offer live jazz on occasional evenings. The Steakouse has jazz bands on the weekend. The Black Crow has live jazz on Friday, Saturday and Tuesday nights.
