Adam Sandler is an actor who loves to make people laugh. You can see that in most of the movies that he makes. In fact, most of his movies turn out to be slap stick comedies because that is what he is most famous for. Some of Adam Sandler's most famous movies are Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, and Big Daddy. These are a lot of movies that appealed to the same people, and really did not bring in a new crowed of fans. However, Sandler did try to do some other movies as well. These movies were still comedies of such, but were differently not the same kind that he had been doing. Such movies like Punch Drunk Love, Reign Over me, and Spanglish where not the typical movies that you would see Sandler play in. These movies usually did not get very good reviews because it was hard to see Adam Sandler play out of character. Most of his fans liked him in the slap stick comedies and did not want to see him in anything else. The people who would of liked these movies had a hard to seeing Adam Sandler in these roles. Although he would like to play other rules he has kind of dug a hole for himself, and he is stuck playing slap stick roles. It is very hard for an actor to change how people see them after they has so many great roles in certain movies. This has happen to other great actors besides Adam Sandler as well, it is just something that happens in Hollywood a lot.

Of course, there is a lot more going on with Adam Sandler than just movies. On June 22, 2003 Sandler married actress Jacqueline Samantha Titone (who is now commonly reffed to as Jackie Sandler). They would only remain a single couple for about three years, because in 2006 Jackie Sandler gave birth to Sadie Madison Sandler. Now Adam Sandler lives a happy life with his family in Los Angeles California. Of course, when you are a big star like Adam Sandler, you are able to have more than one house. He also has a nice home on the other side of the United States in New York. Another thing about Adam Sandler that is cool to know is that fact that he is a fan of pro wrestling. If you pay action in many of the films that he is in you can see a lot of references to pro wrestling because he likes it so much. Also, in 2008 Sandler plans on giving money to the Rudy Giuliani presidential campaign. I think that should a lot of character to give money like that. It should that Adam Sandler is not just warped up in his own life that he cares about what is going on it the world.

Adam Sandler is going to keep making films for a long time to come. Will he ever be able to break out of the comedy role and do something different? Only time will answer this question. As far as making other types of movies he is between a rock and a hard spot. The people who like to watch him, only want to see him in a funny movie (that is what they want to see when they go watch him; they want to laugh). The people who do not go and watch funny movies do not care for Adam Sandler and thus would not go see him in another movie. This is why it is hard for actors to switch what type of movies they are in. Either way, Adam Sandler will go on to make many movies.
