A Board List That Will Change The Way You View The InternetWe all know that a BBS is a bulleting board system. But do we truly know what is hidden inside these sites? Many people may not give them a second look. But hidden inside these sites are great features, which are available for free if you go to the right site. There are some sites that will charge you for the pleasure of using the site so look around and find the best deal available. Use the board list as well as these are great for discussions.
There is always a bbs list or bbs listing available on many sites. These bbs listing sites will keep adding more and more sites to the bbs list that anyone can view and then choose a site, which suits them. Some people may want to check out the board list first of all on the site to see what they are getting if they are to join up with the site.
A board list is mainly a place for discussion with the other members. The board list is just mainly a forum but has adopted the name board list as it does list the topics up for discussion and they are laid out as a list. They are a good way to introduce yourself as well as get to know some of the members of the site. You can sign up to the board list and then engage in a conversation with every member about any topic.
When you first go to a BBS site the site will usually consist of a login screen were you simply type in your login details. Then when you are logged into the site there should be one or more message bases and there is usually a file download area and sometimes on some websites a file upload area is available. But if you are there to play a couple of computer games there are the usually online games that are available, which are mainly single player games. But if you have played all the games on the website before then you may want to use the links page that will take you to a third party website that has more online games for you to indulge yourself in. Many of these websites also contain a multi-user chat room which has the members of that site that are logged in to the chat room discussing any subject that may pop up in the chat room.
There are some sites that do not cater for Windows or Apple users as they have built the site with the intention of only allowing Linux users the ability to download and visit the site. Of course this works both ways as well because some sites will only cater for Windows or Apple users and not Linux. However this problem is becoming less common as some sites will cater for all operating systems. But the sites that don't cater for all the systems, can allow just one system to download and take full advantage of the site were as the other browser who have different operating systems will only be able to view the site and not take part in any discussion or download anything from the site. This can be frustrating for many especially if you have found the website that you have been searching for, but the site will only cater for a different operating system.
These websites are designed with the customer interests in mind they have taken the best bits from other websites and have added them to one website that many people will enjoy.
