Added on 12/08/2007 to Articles Directory / Travels & Vacations / Canadian national parks / Ivvavik National Park (Yukon)
If you are looking to go to one of the nicest, but coldest, national parks that I have ever been to then you have to go see The Ivvavik National Park. When you are in Ivvavik National Park I am sure you are going to see a lot of things that you have never seen before. Of course, it is so cold in The Ivvavik National Park that you should only go when it is summer up there. If you try to go in the winter it would be so cold that you would not have a good time; so there would be no point on going, however, it is still a nice park to visit.

Day Tripping in Kouchibouguac National Park
Added on 05/16/2007 to Articles Directory / Travels & Vacations / Canadian national parks / Kouchibouguac National Park (New Brunswick)
While Kouchibouguac National Park is located a little too far from the Canadian population centers to make this a real day trip destination, the way the park is laid out and the variety of things to do and see does make it seem to be an ideal day trip park. The best solution is to come for an extended stay, camping in one of the many campgrounds, and organize your time as a series of day trips from there. Camping facilities range from primitive back country sites accessible by foot or bike to fully serviced RV parking sites. Sea kayaking, canoeing tidal estuaries, back country hiking, flat country cycling, bird watching, visiting an ocean beach or exploring a bog; these are all options available to the Kouchibouguac day tripper.
